The Cromer Pier Show (also known to many as the Seaside Special), now in it’s 38th year, runs from Saturday 20th June through to Saturday 19th September.
The cast line up includes the return of comedian Paul Eastwood, with his witty and cheeky style; we also welcome back Ben Langley who will be premiering his comedy upside down straight jacket escape, which we know children in the audience will love. Making her debut on our stage this year is multi-instrumentalist Rachel King. She’ll be wowing you with her versatile skills on the saxophone, flute and violin. The cast line up also features amazing vocalists and, of course, the summer show wouldn’t be complete with a full ensemble of our talented and famous Seaside Special Dancers, who will be leading the cast through a host of production numbers and who will thrill you with their high energy routines, precise choreography and fabulous glitzy costumes!
The Cromer Pier Show is one of the few true live variety shows in Britain and it showcases live variety acts at their best. Cromer Pier Pavilion Theatre has approx. 500 seats making for an intimate experience but drawing quality acts who always enjoy returning to the stage here. In the past we’ve had many now familiar names developing their careers here, including Steve Hewlett, the hilarious and fabulously entertaining ventriloquist, who made it to the finals on last year’s Britain’s Got Talent. The Cromer show is nationally famous as an “incubator” for true, quality talent for dancers, singers, actors, magicians, comedians and other variety acts.
